The Great Pyramid of Giza

Egyptians built the pyramids as tombs for their pharaohs, but most pyramids were not just built, they were decorated with pictures and maps to help the pharaohs find the underworld in the afterlife. Pharaohs would have them built in a place of their choice so that they could be buried in them and become gods in the afterlife. This is also why the Great Pyramid was built.
The 1st of 7 Wonders
The Great Pyramid was 1st of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. It is one of the 3 famous Giza pyramids. This pyramid is, although it mightn’t look it, the tallest and largest of the 3.
Khufu's Tomb
The great pyramid was built as a tomb for the pharaoh Khufu on the Giza plateau. It was Khufu's decision that his pyramid was built there. Strangely, Khufu did not choose the highest point on the Giza plateau, which was later used by his son, Khafre.
How was it built?
It took 20,000 workers and 20 years to build and was built around 2580 BC to 2560 BC. Scientists believe that they used sleds to drag the stones along the sand. They may also have wet the sand in front of the sled to make it easier to pull the sled.

Ancient Egyptians built the pyramids as tombs for their pharaohs and one of them is one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. They used sleds and water to move the stones and building them took a long time.

Snowboarding at Mt Hutt

I see other skiers and snowboarders ahead of me disappearing into the blinding snow and mist,
I feel the cold wind and snow as I whiz down the mountain,
I smell the salt and vinegar chips we are eating for a snack,
I hear the voices of other snowboarders and the sound of the blustery wind,
I taste the soft powdery snow falling on my tongue,

Golden Retrievers
Golden retrievers are medium sized dogs bred to retriever small game such as birds. They are called retrievers because of their ability to retrieve the game un damaged. They have a gentle grip which is normally referred to a soft mouth.
Good family dogs
They are gentle with children, very playful and love to cuddle. They can even tell if you need a snuggle. Make sure you give them a lot of love because them need it. Golden retrievers are friendly toward other  dogs and strangers. The don’t bark much so if you don’t like barking dogs, Golden retrievers are perfect for you.
Types
There are three types of   Golden retrievers, the English Cream, Canadian Golden retriever, and the American Golden retriever. The English Cream Golden retriever is more cream-coloured while the Canadian Golden retriever has a darker golden coat. The American Golden retriever is in the middle, with nice lighter golden fur. But other than that, they are very similar.
Activities
Golden retrievers need 40 to 60 minutes of exercise a day. They love to play fetch, go swimming and go for a run, walk or jog. They can run as fast as 56kph. They also need mental stimulation such as toys to chew on or a new place to play.
