Egyptian gods 

 

An Egyptian god is a god or a Goddess who the Egyptians worshiped like ra the God of the sun or taweret the God of childbirth and fertility. These weren’t real people they were just gods that they worshiped.  

Taweret  

Taweret is the god of childbirth and fertility she has the head of a crocodile and the body of a hippopotamus and the paws of a lion. All these were ‘man killers’ and all three were regarded as fierce creatures who would kill to protect their young and it is also tawerets job to protect children and babies. So if you had a child or a baby you would worship her. Taweret means she who is great.  

Ra 

Ra is the god of the sun and he had the head of a falcon and the body of a human. Did you know that the Egyptians thought that if you didn’t give Ra offerings that the sun wouldn’t rise and the world would end? 

Sobek 

Sobek is the god of crocodiles also sobek is the god of the Nile who bought fertility. He also had the head of a crocodile and the body of a human.

My Day at Flip Out 

I see people jumping into the foam pit and struggling to get out, like it was quick sand. 

I feel the fuzzy foam stuck to my socks making my feet itchy. 

I smell the rubber from the trampolines and the sweat from people’s feet. 

I hear people screaming for joy and puffing from bouncing for too long. 

I taste the apricot slice that my mum packed me for my lunch box. 

My day at flip out.

My Invention 

Doctor TheomiBob was in his lab making his brand-new invention: The portable house or TPH. 

 Dr TheomiBob was completing the finishing touches to his project TPH. He screwed the last screw and voilà Doctor Theomibob had finally finished the portable house which shrinks into a tiny cube and can fit into your pocket. 

He was so happy because it had been in the making for 200 years! Well you see if Doctor TheomiBob had been working on TPH for 200 years he would be dead but when Doctor TheomiBob  was 30 he achieved immortality so he would have the same face and body and he was thirty forever. 

The TPH was amazing! You could choose any type of house that you wanted. There were mansions, forts and so on. 

Dr TheomiBob went to the market to sell his portable house and his invention was a total hit.
