MERCURY
Mercury is a terrestrial planet in our solar system it is the closest to the sun.
One of the craters is over 8 miles long. Mercury spins slowly compared Earth so 1 day lasts a long time. Mercury is a rocky planet with a huge iron core.
Mercury is the smallest planet; it goes whizzing around the sun at a dazzling 31 miles per second. Its orbital period around the sun of 87.97 days is the shortest of all planets in the solar system.
Mercury can be seen from Earth! Mercury is dangerous because of a liquid that vaporizes at a room temperature. Mercury is a bit like Earth's moon.
Thank you for reading my mercury facts. I researched all this so you can know more about Mercury.
Even though mercury is small you can still see it from Earth and especially from a telescope.

My Poem

In the ocean of dreams I saw
Five lovely schools of fish
Playing together.
In the ocean of dreams I saw
 eighty-five happy jelly fish
Splashing across the waves.
In the ocean of dreams I saw
One thousand scared dolphins
Diving around a rock.
In the ocean of dreams I saw
One million hungry sharks

feasting on fish.
