Summer time

I remember summer.
I remember the boiling, hot sun in the sky.
I remember the small soft grains of sand on the big beach.
I remember the nice, cool waves on the ocean.
I remember the bumpy boat on our way going fishing.
I remember the refreshing fan in the living room
I remember the shady sun hats protecting my face.
I remember the slippery sunblock on my skin.
I remember summer.

Pandas
Pandas are found in china. Pandas also are a type of bear. They have sensitive ears, good sense of smell and not good eyesight.

Pandas have a black and white coat. Pandas are quite big. A panda also has a thick wooly coat for the winter. A panda's tail is very fluffy and thick as well as the coat.

At birth a baby panda weighs 100g. A female panda weighs 115kg. A male panda weighs the most. It weighs about 150kg. Red pandas weigh way different to a normal panda it weighs 3.7kg to 6.2kg.

Pandas eat only one thing, bamboo. Sometimes a panda will eat leaves and stems. Sometimes baby pandas will attack snow leopards, eagles, feral dogs and Asian black bear.

Pandas are endangered. They are endangered because people are destroying the bamboo forests in China.

Mercury
Mercury is the closest planet to the sun. It is also the smallest planet apart from Pluto.

Mercury is made of rock, but it is a terrestrial planet. A terrestrial planet is a planet that is mostly made of rock. Mercury looks a bit like earth's moon.

Mercury has no moons. It has no moons because it is too close to the sun. Also, Venus has no moons because it is also to close to the sun.

The distance from Mercury to the sun is 57.91 million km. The distance from Mercury to Earth is 77 million km

Did you know, a year on mercury is 88 days long? And the planet Mercury has no rings.

Bullying speech
Have you ever been bullied? Do you know how to stop being bullied? Hi, my name is Fianna and today I will be telling you a bit about bullying and how to stop it.
Firstly, what is bullying? There are four types of bullying. Social, Cyber, Physical and Verbal.
Social bullying is when people are talking about a person behind their backs. Physical bullying is when the bully is hitting, punching and pinching. Cyber bullying is when you are being bullied online and verbal bullying is when the bully is saying it directly to the person.
Secondly, signs of being bullied. You can tell if someone is being bullied if the bully is doing physical bullying or if the person is upset and crying. You can also tell if someone has been bullied if they have unexplainable injuries or lost and destroyed clothing, books, electronics and jewelry. If someone shares that they are being bullied, it’s important to make sure you listen to them and support them.
On the website, Kid Power, I found out that across the world, approximately 3.2 million students are victims of being bullied per year. Around 160,000 teenagers skip school every day because of bullying.
Fourthly, here are 3 ways to stop bullying:
  1. Stand up to the bully
  1. Talk to other kids
  1. Stay calm
Our school has a bully saying called W.I.T.S which stand for:
W is four walking away, I is for ignore, T is for talking about it and S is for seek help.

In conclusion, I have told you the 4 types of bullying, the signs of being bullied, a lot of people are home schooled because of bullying and I have told you some ways to stop bullying. now you know what bullying is and how to stop it. Thanks for listening.

How to trick your dog to go to the vet.
  1. Give your dog its favourite treats to let it know it going to get more.
  1. Go inside and get the leash and a towel to cover its eyes when its walking into the vet
  1. Have some more treats in your hand and lead it to your car.
  1. Drive to the vet and Make it look like you're going to the beach even though you're going to the vet.

  1. When you're at the vet put the leash on the dog and Cover your dog's eyes using the towel.
